A gente te ajuda. 🇦🇺 Many people think the PR process is just “study and wait”. In reality, four factors change everything: English level, actual demand for your occupation, the region you choose, and your Australian work experience. When you combine these with the right strategy, your pathway to PR becomes clearer (and faster). Want to understand the best route for your case? We’re here to help.

Are you an international student looking for a job in Australia? Well, your job search is going to be easier and more efficient from now on.

In an entirely new pilot program, the Government of Australia has launched an employment initiative specifically for international students. Created in partnership with SEEK, one of the largest job platforms in Australia, similar to Catho, in Brazil, NSW Jobs Connect for International Students is a new initiative that will connect international students directly with employers in different parts of the country.

With over 136,000 international students currently studying in the country, this group plays an important role in the state’s workforce. Therefore, the initiative is so important and essential for Australia.

Employers often have certain residency requirements for the positions they advertise on SEEK. However, these requirements are usually only mentioned in the job description, making it difficult for international students to find out which positions they can actually apply for.

With the new initiative, employers will be able to add a new filter, #NSWJOBSCONNECT, to their job postings, so international students will quickly identify which job opportunities are available to them.

The program will cover a wide range of sectors from finance to construction and beyond. At the time of publication, over 50 NSW employers have signed the NSW International Student Business Charter as a sign of commitment to international student employment.

According to Study NSW, all of these organizations currently have job opportunities available for international students. That way, the job search will be even easier.
